James Bonham

Mr. Bonham joined Smith, Murdaugh, Little & Bonham, L.L.P. in May, 1980. His practice includes the creation and representation of municipal utility districts and similar political subdivisions in the State of Texas, both as general counsel and as bond counsel. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Bonham was employed as a bank examiner by the Comptroller of the Currency of the United States Treasury.

Education

Mr. Bonham received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Rhodes College in May, 1976, and his LL.B. degree from the Cumberland School of Law in 1980.

Professional Affiliations

Mr. Bonham was admitted to the Texas Bar in 1980. In addition to the State Bar of Texas, he is a member of the Houston Bar Association and the National Association of Bond Lawyers and has been admitted to practice in the U. S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas.
