Practice areas:
Mr. Bonham joined Smith, Murdaugh, Little, & Bonham, L.L.P. in August, 2010. His practice includes the creation and representation of municipal utility districts and other political subdivisions in the State of Texas, both as general counsel and as bond counsel. Mr. Bonham advises clients on various public law matters including real estate, land development, elections, property taxation, construction contracts, intergovernmental contracts, environmental regulation and enforcement and regulatory compliance. He regularly represents clients before the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality, the Texas Legislature and other state and local governmental bodies.
Professional affiliations:
Mr. Bonham was admitted to the Texas Bar in 2010. In addition to the State Bar of Texas, he is a member of the Houston Bar Association and the National Association of Bond Lawyers and has been admitted to practice in the U. S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas.
Education:
Mr. Bonham received his Doctor of Jurisprudence in May, 2010 from South Texas College of Law. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Rhodes College in May, 2007.
